Bryan Hires Friedrich as New Sports Information & Facilities Director
Dayton,TN- Drew Friedrich, a 2007 graduate of Bryan College has been hired as the school's new Sports Information Director and director of the schools’ new weightlifting facilities. A transfer from NCAA Division 1 Liberty University, Friedrich starred for the Lions on the diamond for 3 seasons; He garnered 1st Team All-AAC Honors in his senior season. A communications major, Friedrich graduated from Bryan in May of 2007 and was teaching at Duluth High School in Atlanta, GA before being offered the chance to return to his Alma Mater. Friedrich will be the first Sports Information Director in the schools’ history.
“I am thrilled to be back at Bryan, where I was able to fulfill my dreams of playing college baseball. I loved my time here and am excited about the opportunity to come on board. Coach Zensen is a terrific AD, and someone who I look forward to working for and with. I think Bryan has the potential, in the very near future, to become as well known for its’ athletic success as it is for its academic standards,” Friedrich said in a recent interview.
