Atlantic Shores Seahawks

After a slow start in the first quarter against Denbigh on saturday, the seahawks woke up and finished the half on a 16-2 run.  Cullen Hudgins and Malik Dillard led the second quarter run as Hudgins dished out 4 assist and Dillard had 8 points in the quarter.  Combined with Evan Dougoud the trio bunched 36 points in a 45-26 victory against Denbigh Baptist.  John Gillis was once again strong on the boards grabbing 10, and Omari Banks chipped in with 6 rebounds.  With contributions from the bench led by Roarke Cannon who is averaging 7 points off of the bench, the whole team gave a great effort.  Next game will be at Atlantic Shores where we will play host to Norfolk Collegiate.  Come out and support your eighth grade basketball team.
